Chicken in Milk
A slightly odd, but really fantastic combination, which must be tried
1 (3 pound/ 1.5 kilogram) organic chicken
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 ounces (115 grams) or 1 stick butter
1/2 cinnamon stick
1 good handful fresh sage, leaves picked
2 lemons, zested
6 garlic cloves, skin left on
1 pint (565 millilitres) milk
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C/gas 5), and find a
snug-fitting pot for the chicken. Season it generously all over with salt
and pepper, and fry it in the butter, turning the chicken to get an even
colour all over, until golden. Remove from the heat, put the chicken on a
plate, and throw away the butter left in the pot. This will leave you with
tasty sticky goodness at the bottom of the pan, which will give you a
lovely caramel flavour later on.
Put your chicken back in the pot with the rest of the ingredients, and
cook in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours. Baste with the cooking juice
when you remember. The lemon zest will sort of split the milk, making a
sauce, which is absolutely fantastic.
To serve, pull the meat off the bones and divide it on to your plates.
Spoon over plenty of juice and the little curds. Serve with wilted spinach
or greens and some mashed potato.
Yield: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 40 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

hahaa...after 6 long enduring months of training,working till the wee hours of the morning...got the break that i been waiting like for ages to come..man...got 8 days of leave...now i can stay up late,and do whatever the things that i've never been able to seem to finish up...i can now play MW on FB till i puke or sumthin..or maybe i would like to try sum of that jamie oliver's recepie..or maybe catch some good movies...can't wait for New Moon to be released this thursday..hmm..i've seen this magic show that's been showing on astro on the AXN channel ''Cyril Simply Magic''wonder if u guys have watch it?i really really enjoyed the show. It's hard to refute the fact that the man is really creative in terms of how he presents his performances and more so himself, to a point where it really seems like fun in what he's doing. As such, with every performance i found myself more and more interested and drawn in.Anyway, I watched the first 15mins of the show,where he goes to this food court to have some chow with tv host presenter Ollie Petitgrew,so what Cyril does is,he orders a bowl of chicken rice and sat down to eat his grub.Now Ollie,ask Cyril if he can make that bowl of chicken rice,transform into a bowl of laksa....then as u all might hv figured it out by now,he covers his hands on the bowl,say his magic words,and then WhooOOo!!.that bowl of chicken rice,now turns into a bowl of mee laksa!! I must say he never fails to capture you. Cyril just has charm and he always knows how to up the level of impossiblity to over the limit to blow your minds. Just when you think it will be over, he adds on and on and on with layers of layers of impossibility.
His tricks has always been awesome.

Whoa..."New Moon," which has been grandly titled "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in honor of that first episode's huge success. really enjoyed it. From this trailer, we can see that New Moon is really all about Jacob and Bella, and that's how it should be. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Team Edward girl all the way, but this is the set up for the love triangle in Eclipse, and it's important to develop the relationship between Jake and Bella. The trailer helps me feel better that they're really going to do that.yeah...i think jake is a badass in this one,heads up! it'll hit the cinemas on the 26/11/90...hmm...whom should i take to the movies with me??
